Recommended base metals:
- copper and copper alloys (brass, bronze)
- steel (alloyed and unalloyed and stainless steel)
- malleable cast iron
- nickel and nickel alloys.
Recommended flux: Easy Flo Flux, Allround flux (flux in the FH10 standard).
Common soldering methods: Flame, induction, resistance.
**Silicon is also added here, which increases the stability of the alloy, and ensures that properties such as ductility, strength, and corrosion resistance are the same everywhere in the solder.
